Brief
There is something magical about being in the mountains, surrounded by massive trees, taking a deep breath of the clean, crisp air. As a kid, I would visit Yosemite quite often with my family. Yosemite is synonymous with John Muir, also known as “the father of the national parks.” John Muir was a farmer, inventor, trailblazer, explorer, writer, and perhaps this country’s most famous and influential naturalist and conservationist. He taught the importance of experiencing and protecting our natural heritage and still remains an inspiration for many environmentalists, hikers, snowboarders, skiers, and mountain climbers everywhere. I created a series of typography explorations based on his inspirational quotes.
